Messerschmitt Me-163B Komet, Yellow 15 - GASPATCH MODELS 1/72 - walkaround

Greetings from Athens,
For my 131st build I chose the latest release of GasPatch Models since Costas (the owner) is a very good friend of mine, a fellow modeler long before he started this business and a magnificent kit manufacturer (along with his team of course). Starting from his very first release - the Salmson - I made a promise to him that I will be the first one (or one of the firsts) to build his every next (aviation) release and I have been trying to fulfill that promise ever since. Not a difficult task though, because every kit he produces is excellent. The Me-163B in 1/72nd is no exception to that rule. What a little gem that kit is. Full 3D, with phenomenal detail, and with a design engineering that renders the building experience a pleasure task throughout. WIP post here:

Photos of the real thing reveal a surprisingly heavy weathered camouflage, so this is what I tried to represent on my model. The scale is 1/72nd - keep that in mind because it does not show from the photos... Enjoy.
