TEXANTOMCAT Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 The rival to MAM’s show as the coldest in the U.K. is back on 16/2/2025 https://www.shuttleworth.org/product/scale25/ TT 4
matti64 Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 we shall be endeavouring to be there once more!
Noel Smith Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 It is only about 5 miles from me, so will be checking the weather on the day.
spruecutter96 Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Just a long as we're not under three-inches of snow that day, this show is always worth a visit. Standard museum entrance-charges apply. Cheers. Chris.
Noel Smith Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Because of the Museum entrance charge, is this the most expensive model show to attend in the UK?
TEXANTOMCAT Posted January 27 Author Posted January 27 Nope try the Key show. No museum and £17.95 per day just for the parking plus £25 per adult ticket on the door… Also you’re helping a charity at OW preserve our aeronautical heritage. a model show with a bonus museum or a museum with a bonus model show - your choice!
Tijuana Taxi Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Too pricey for me and the missus just to have a look around for a couple of hours

Mid-February probably isn't the best time to see it, but I may go for a stroll round if I don't spend too much pf the day talking . . . so that'll be waiting for the airshow season premiere then. TonyW Posted Tuesday at 10:11 AM Posted Tuesday at 10:11 AM One of the best shows of the year for me. I've never come away empty handed yet, the traders are always worth a look as the variety on offer makes the trip out worth it just for that part of the event. First class model displays, a chance to meet up with old friends and an incredible museum to wander around in peace thrown it as well. Easy parking and half way sensible catering all add to the smooth running of the place. Tony. 2
TEXANTOMCAT Posted Tuesday at 04:33 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 04:33 PM Totally agree, its a very special place. Was sad to read that OW aren't hosting the Model Air events any longer though - whilst RC etc and not static models they were an institution for over 40 years - I've been going for 45 with my Dad!
