ajwebb Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Last post on this. Reading up on more of the (bonkers) Georgia law, all imported vehicles are ineligible for registration, but the term does NOT include former military vehicles. Anyone know of a Humber armored car for sale? I am definitely retiring in a different state. 2 3
Anteater Posted February 12 Posted February 12 What's the reason for Georgia's stance then? Climate nonsense? Thought it was supposed to be the land of the free...?
HK-500 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 If even U.S legislators become anti-cars , we petrolheads are officially doomed... 2

The climate nonsense award goes to California. Georgia has no emissions outside the metro Atlanta area. 38 minutes ago, Neddy said: I'm guessing it's more likely to be protectionism. The kei car ban was probably started by a group that thinks tiny Japanese trucks that cost almost nothing with no safety systems and are super reliable are taking away modern pickup truck sales from dealers. A dealer here had a whole fleet of kei trucks imported for selling. But the way they interpret the law to ban kei trucks can also, and is being used to prevent any imported car from being registered. The law was like that since 2008, it just took them 15 years to realize that all imports are illegal in Georgia. Also, if someone does have an import registered in Georgia, the state can (and will) revoke their registration AND TITLE. If they take their title for the car, you are pretty much left with a parts car, as it cannot be registered pretty much anywhere else without a title. They do NOT give you back your original papers that you used to register the car with. This applies to everything. Paganis, Nissan Skylines, Euro spec ferraris, euro minis, and everything in between. This is a state issue, not a national issue. 5
Farmer matt Posted February 13 Author Posted February 13 Most of the new hydrogen singledeck buses introduced here recently have disappeared for rectification work. However, this morning one of the brand new doubledecks was out on test. Wright Streetdeck Hydroliner. Matt 6

kiseca Posted February 14 Posted February 14 They say you can find anything on the internet. Happily, I failed to find any pictures of a Testarossa on Ronal Teddies. I did find more than one pink Testarossa though! At least one with a famous owner.. it wasn't Katie Price.
SnøMotion Posted February 14 Posted February 14 I spent some time last night looking for Ferrari 348 models... I did find a relatively reasonable one, so this could be a goer. Martin 3

Although, I'm not really that bothered about supercars in general, which is why I'm happy to put Ronal Teddies on one 25 minutes ago, keefr22 said: Oooops, my apologies Martin for starting this nonsense off! 🤣 Keith Don't worry.
