After a quick trip to scalemates to download the instructions, I now know that the two little marks show a part snapping together!

 

A bit slow off the mark this morning...

So for this one, I've decided to try and finish it as "Sabine's Masterpiece" from the animated series, Star Wars Rebels. It's not the exact same model Tie Fighter but sure where's the fun in that! Onwards to the masking.. I found some handy plans online for converting a Hasbro toy so used those as a guide..

 

Masked up and hit with Tamiya Lemon Yellow

Then masked again for Taniya Orange

Some tiny bleed but happy how it's going..
