So, with all the different views of the Group Builds and who they appeal to, I've had an idea for an inclusive GB that covers all sorts of 'stuff' ....

The build covers Rescue and Recovery, so any Military or civilian vehicle, aircraft, helicopter or boat/ship can be included from any era or conflict.

The criteria is:

Rescue - anything that has a Rescue role from Coastguard, Air Sea Rescue/pilot rescue and the Emergency services - Fire and Rescue, RNLI

Recovery - anything that is involved in recovering vehicles, AFVs or aircraft.  This can include civilian and military recovery vehicles (wheeled or tracked) or any military recovery vehicle in a civilian guise.

Hmm I’m thinking either something like a Catalina or a Grumman duck or alternatively a bergepanzer or even Berge Panther as my (not so) local model shop had several reduced price  kits last time I visited. So count me in. I do also have a Seaking in my stash.

Welcome @zebra!  Well, it's a proposal that could go in any direction!

Count me in please. I had similar idea of proposing medical/rescue GB. I have some models in stash with life emergency markings and a set of coast guard helicopter markings (without suitable kits though).

As an option - would pilot rescue helicopters from Vietnam War such as CH-3 count in?

Welcome aboard @Dennis_C

Your option absolutely fits this proposal ..... anything rescue related!

Hi Keeff @Keeff. Two questions if I may.

1. For rescue, would a Skyraider qualify?

2. For recovery, would a Skycrane qualify?

Cheers,

Chris.

@silverfox63....

1. It appears the Skyraider had a rescue role (some interesting and daring antics recorded!), so yes it qulaifies

2. Yes .... if it's being used in a recovery role and not just transporting
