81-er Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 It would seem that the last Hunter GB was all the way back in 2016, and given Airfix has released their lovely 1/48 Hunter since then and Revell have just announced a 1/32 T7, it seems like we’re well overdue for another. Any operational Hunter is eligible, regardless of seats/operator (including civil)/scale etc, as are any prototypes. The only real exclusion is no WIFFs. Any takers? 1. 81-er (host) 2. @theplasticsurgeon 3. @Corsairfoxfouruncle 4. @2996 Victor 5. @Col. 6. @zebra 7. @Richard Humm 8. @modelling minion 9. @stevehnz 10. @Wez 11. @DeepSea 12. @philp 13. @JohnT 14. @Bbdave 15. @Jb65rams 16. @Roland Pulfrew 17. @Back in the Saddle 18. @Captain Glumbo 19. @SzilardUK 20. @Karearea 21. @Rafwaffe 22. ? 23. ? 24. ? 25. ? 1
theplasticsurgeon Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Yes! and I've never built a Hunter in a GB before. About the only aircraft I haven't. 2
81-er Posted November 8, 2024 Author Posted November 8, 2024 Welcome aboard, Tim I've never actually built one myself, but I have a few in the stash James
Corsairfoxfouruncle Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Me please … I have a Revell kit with Saudi markings that was supposed to be built in the Desert group build a couple of years ago. 1
81-er Posted November 8, 2024 Author Posted November 8, 2024 Ooh, that sounds superb, Dennis! James 1
2996 Victor Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Hi James, I reckon it's about time I embraced the jet age and what better subject? Please count me in! Cheers, Mark 1
Col. Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Ooh, yes, plenty kits in the stash that require attention. 1
zebra Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Count me in. Only one Hunter in the stash (which is shameful - I should see about fixing that) and it's earmarked for a T.8M conversion. 1
Richard Humm Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 I've got a few Hunters in several scales. I'm in. 1
81-er Posted November 9, 2024 Author Posted November 9, 2024 Welcome aboard, gents, some good options there James 1

stevehnz Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 9, I've heaps the odd one or two, I could do. Steve. 3
DeepSea Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 Please stick me down for this, will be a 1/32 one - although I'm not sure if it'll be a Revell or an Echelon one. 1
philp Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 I would be up for this. I have a few 72nd scale kits in the stash and a 32nd scale one that needs a new home. Plus I had an uncle who modified the wings on the older marks to add the dogtooth leading edge. Here is a pic of him by the bird at the Norwich Museum from my visit back in 2013. https://photos.fife.usercontent.google.com/pw/AP1GczMiylDrsuevEXs8iwSbxtGMM13FMj2ZFqzhZoyB6sc-6fuZzsQMSrKjNg=w1000-h750-s-no-gm?authuser=0 3
JohnT Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 I’d like in. I’ve a half dozen 1/32 hunters in the stash so I’d like to whittle that down to size a bit. Beautiful plane the Hunter. Classic 2
