We’ll be revealing all our releases for January through to April 2025 via a pamphlet available on our stand, we’ll also have many built examples of the upcoming products. For those not at the show, we’ll have a separate blog being posted at 12:00 (GMT) on the Saturday covering all of the news from the show. We’ll be positioned against the wall in Hall 2 but for more information please refer to the floor plans: https://ipmsuk.org/ipms-scale-modelworld/smw-floor-plans/

Interesting. A few hours of photos and excitement (and arguing) on the various forums and social media platforms before the official announcement is published can only be good publicity for Revell.

Await the inevitable disappointment/ comments!

Normally only see re-issues in this first quarter batch. I'd expect a continuation of their co-operation with ICM, plus various US cars (ex-Monogram)

I saw an ad in the current Airfix mag, thec1/144 BAE146 is making a comeback

Yeh, I was looking out for another one after they announced it earlier in the year, but they're after £23 SRP for the privilege!

Doesn't seem unreasonable for a 1/144 airliner

Certainly not in 2024.....the days of pocket-money kits in the local newsagent are sadly long gone!

Wonder if they have sorted out the issues with 1/32 F-18 Hornet....

I very much doubt it.....from what I've seen online I'd imagine it would take a lot of work to modify the moulds.

"English Version

Hello from Telford! The Revell team are currently on the stand at Scale ModelWorld 2024 chatting to modellers from all around the world about this great hobby we all share. For those attending the show, we have a brochure on our stand announcing our January to April 2025 releases and the team will be there to answer any questions you might have. However, as we know a lot of you can’t be with us in person, we therefore thought it best to publish this information online so you don’t feel too left out.

Aircraft

We have a number of aircraft releases over the first four months of the year, there’ll be plenty more to come after April as well. In January, we plan to release two 1:144 products focusing on the Battle of Britain with each product featuring two aircraft kits (including stands) within the box. 03771 will contain 1 x Messerschmitt Bf109E and 1 x Junkers Ju87B Stuka, 03770 will contain 1 x Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Ia & 1 x Hawker Hurricane Mk.I.

In February, we have another two 1:144 products due for release. The first is a re-release of our 1:144 Grumman F-14A Tomcat (03782) with a new paint scheme and updated packaging. This kit will feature decals for an aircraft of VF-1 operating from USS Enterprise during Operation Frequent Wind in 1975.

The second February item is another re-release, this time it is our 1:144 Panavia Tornado IDS/GR.1 (03783) which will include a new decal sheet and updated packaging. We will include two decal schemes covering early Marineflieger and RAF aircraft, the RAF specific parts will also be included as a result.

In March we are planning on releasing three new items including one new tool! Firstly, we’ll be bringing back the 1:72 Fairey Gannet AS.1/AS.4 (03775) with three schemes covering the German, British and Australian versions which will hopefully keep most fans happy.

We’ll also be reintroducing the 1:32 BAE Systems Hawk T.1A ‘Red Arrows’ (04284) which will feature decals for all aircraft currently in the team in their 60th display season.

In addition to the Gannet and Hawk we’ll finally be releasing our 1:72 Lockheed Martin® F-35®A Lightning II® (03799)! This will be one of the most comprehensive models of the F-35® at 72nd scale including three decal schemes (USAF, RNLAF & Luftwaffe), FOD covers, drag chute housing and a wide variety of stores. In addition to the first built models we’ll also be showing 2nd test shots at Telford which arrived in the office this very week.

In April we’ll be releasing the second product in our P-series, this will be the 1:72 Messerschmitt P.1099A. Two decal schemes will be included and the original 1996 artwork used on our special P-Series packaging.

Finally, we have a rather special item! As you’ll know, here at Revell we love a Tornado and we also love a special scheme so when the German Air Force unveiled a special livery to commemorate 50 years of the Tornado we knew we had to act. That is why we’ll be releasing a 1:48 Panavia Tornado ’50 Years’ (03769) featuring an extremely large decal sheet.

So they're re-releasing old 1/144 kits again. I wouldn't go for the Spitfire Mk.ia or Bf109E; Beacon Models have a much newer and more accurate kit of each. Stuka could tempt me if it wasn't boxed with the 109.

It's kind of funny that they're referring to 50 year old model kits as "a new series".

The only interesting stuff for me could be the F14 and Tornado in 1/144, they have a good choice of decals. But else? Meh...

There are some Bandai and Matchbox reissues, but three of the Matchbox 1/32 cars are a welcome return.

Definitely! I believe the only one of the Matchbox 1/32 cars to be released in a Revell

box was the Auto Union. The one’s they are proposing to release next year will be most welcome. Hopefully they will eventually get through the whole series.

A new range of products called the ‘Historic Racer Series’ will include models of historic racing cars, all in 1:32 scale; the Mercedes-Benz SSKL (07737) will be released in February, the Porsche 917 (07738) in March and the Surtees TS16/03 (07739) in April.

For me the welcome news is the return of the 1/72 Fairey Gannet AS.1/5.  I will finally get this kit.

Many nice reissues from Matchbox as well.  Great news indeed for those who really appreciate Revell/Matchbox kits with fresh decals.

Does the range naming allude to the mould dates, or the subject matter?
Hmmm.... :hmmm:

They did the 935 in Jagermeister livery (which wasn’t ever on that configuration of 935), but even the Revell guys seem to have forgotten about it! I bought one to put the running gear under a very nice slot car body kit…

best,

M.

Was really hoping for a new 1/25 Corvette C.8R as a continuation of their racing Corvette coverage.

I was hoping the same, maybe a release later in the year?
