keithjs Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Oh no, don't say they're doing a Jaguar too.....🤪 Shackleton Deja vu all over again...🫣 5
TEXANTOMCAT Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Ballsy! Luke has decided to get Revell to go head to head with Airfix for a Telford announcement 🙂 1

Warwolf Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 I'm under NDA to what it is... but it's a good'un! 😉 1
Tbolt Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 Maybe it's that they are doing away with end opening boxes 😂 3 20 2 1 1

Rabbit Leader Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 This is great news. I wonder who will announce their new kit first and which one will seemingly receive the most plaudits? Airfix announced a German kit last year, perhaps Revell will give us a British kit this year. Cheers.. Dave 2

Tbolt Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 Maybe it's a 1/72nd Halifax. Oh no, they've already messed that one up! Hopefully that's what Airfix will be giving us. Id like Revell to do a new F-100, either in 1/72nd or 1/48th. 1 1
TEMPESTMK5 Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 A new 1/72 P51 B/D Mustang or a family of Curtis P36/H75/P40 ... 😉 Patrice 3
Stickleback Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 An 1:32 scale Pützer Elster (Magpie) in the markings of the early German Bundesluftwaffe appropriate to Revell‘s Piper L-18C Super Cub in that scale.
jenko Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 Something of a higher standard than usual would help. 2 1 2

A 1/32 scale Cessna 172 would go equally well with the civil versions of the 1/32 Super Cub, the gliders and the civil Tiger Moth. It‘s the world‘s most produced aircraft, there only ever was one reasonably accurate kit (Nichimo 1/20), never one in 1/32 and the currently available ones in other scales are best forgotten. 2

Opened my Shackleton AEW.2 2 weeks ago. Turns out I'm missing the forward fuselage and bomb bay/radar dome sprues. No response yet from them so guessing I got a paint mule instead 🤷♀️. So my enthusiasm for their products is a bit on the non-existent side right now. Edited November 7, 2024 by Evil_Toast_RSA

Riko did one in 1/35, I sold mine earlier this year. I have got the Nichimo in the stash though.
noelh Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 It'll be interesting to see what it is. Maybe it's an announcement that they will cease to make unforced errors. Lancaster dihedral anyone? Or tooling a 1/72 scale Corsair F4U-1D then issuing it as an F4U-1A, - 4 and as an FAA Corsair labelled as an F4U-1B. Time will tell.
JamesP Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 Could it have something to do with their new product manager? 🤔
