Homebee Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 (edited) Box art ? Source: https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1171401514985703&id=100063475961264 "In addition to printing this giant, you also need to find time to make assembly instructions - that's also a lot of work. In this model, we focus on durability. The wings are triple reinforced with 2 mm steel wires (the wires will be included in the set). All the struts and the landing gear are the same - everywhere reinforced with 0.8 mm steel wire. Just in case, we will include 2 trestles for the skids on the lower wings in the set." V.P. Homebee Posted February 13 Author Posted February 13 Preorder - ref. 32-063 - Caproni Ca.3 Sources: https://lukgraph.pl/en_GB/p/Caproni-Ca.3-132-scale-full-print-PRE-ORDER/284 https://www.facebook.com/largescaleplanes/posts/pfbid02oTBFML8DjzVdKnm3Ctpz3fpoaDBhkDiGu884LC4ZTJTCFENXnXv7wKKLFAoTpezrl Quote LukGraph Caproni Ca.3 1:32 - Pre-orders open. The Caproni Ca.3 in 1:32 scale is undoubtedly our biggest project and we are truly proud to be able to put this legendary model in the hands of modelers. The World War I era atmosphere of the set is created by a unique wooden box with engraving. Pre-order link: https://lukgraph.pl/en_GB/p/Caproni-Ca.3-132-scale-full-print-PRE-ORDER/284 Description of the set: Fully printed, non-raster model consists of 189 parts, photo-etched parts, decals, color manual (28 pages) turnbuckles and rods 2,0 and 0,8 mm. The new thing is the figures - 4-person crew. Model construction: The model has three holes in each wing for rods with a diameter of 2 mm each to strengthen the stiffness and strength of the structure. The fuselage is placed on the center wing, thanks to which the wires pass through the entire wingspan - approx. 70 cm. In addition, each wing strut and landing gear elements are pass-through ready for insertion of 0.8 mm wire. The above treatments greatly strengthen the entire structure. Engine nacelles placed on the lower center wing. Kitset will include 2mm rods for reinforcing the wings and 0,8 mm rods all struts (including the landing gear 1,2 mm rod). The set includes trestles for the wing skids to ensure that the wings remain straight. The set includes decals for 5 paint schemes. 1. Caproni Ca.3 4083 "AGLA" - aircraft serving in 9a Squadriglia. Damaged during an air raid on Pola on September 29, 1917. Repaired, it survived until the end of the war. 2. One of two Ca.3s that were transported to the USA aboard the steamer Duca degli Abruzzi in mid-August 1917. The plane was assembled at Langley Field and first flown on September 11. Presented US Army with the inscription Ca. Giulio Cesare. There are known photos with both black and white inscription. It was probably a copy with the original number 4051. 3. Ca.3 No. 4187 of 13a Squadriglia with marking supplemented with American insignia. The plane was probably used for training American volunteers. Between September 14 and 17, 1918, the future mayor of New York, Fiorello Henry La Guardia, carried out combat missions on this plane. 4. Ca.3 4164 Piave!/Osum! of 11a Squadriglia. Crew: ten. Antonio Magnocavallo and Serg. Italo Lucchi. Tahiraga, Albania. 5. Ca3 11495, on which on May 4, 1919, on the way from Italy to the country where was to take office as Minister of War died Milan Rastislav Štefánik, one of the founders of Czechoslovakia. Technical data: - Model weight (including supports) approx. 950g, - Total length of rods in the set is approx. 4 meters, - Dimensions of the wooden box 32 x 32 x 11 cm, - Package weight approx. 1300g - Span approx. 70 cm.
