Popular Post Serge Posted October 27, 2024 Popular Post Posted October 27, 2024 (edited) Hi all, This was a long, long, long built F9F in 1:48 from Trumpeter. But, finally, I've made it. And little DIO (comme d'habitude) Edited October 27, 2024 by Serge 56 4 15 4

Eric B. Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 An absolute gem and a real success. I love it. It is not easy to give life to an overall dark blue model but you perfectly managed to do it. Great result. Eric B.
SoftScience Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 There is a lot to love here. The pose grabs the eye first. But then the finish that looks like actual painted aluminum, the flashes of red flaps, and the lifelike face and hand gesture of the pilot. Finally the decking is just fantastic, and a wonderful color contrast to the dark blue. This is so good! 1

TeaWeasel Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 Some gorgeous work. The red really makes it pop and the subtle weathering is just superb.
woody37 Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 This is an aircraft I've never had an interest in, but seeing your build has changed my mind! Stunning finish, really like the way you've made the single colour interesting.
SAT69 Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Beautiful work. What stands out to me is the fact Trumpeter appears to have gotten the canopy framing right where Revell/Monogram didn't at least on the front end.
flyingpiggy Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Fantastic work, very inspirational thank you
Lightningboy2000 Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Absolutely superb! I've got to get some dark blue paint! Also really like that base.
Roman Schilhart Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 An iconic aircraft, one of the most beautiful jet designs - and immortalized in my memory as the mount of "Buck Danny" ( a French comic book series). Your build is most excellent.
Richard S Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 That is really, really nice. Beautiful finish and exceptional presentation, well done and thanks for sharing.
Geoffry M Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 You have done an excellent job on that kit. 👍
Rod bettencourt Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Oh I dig this!! Almost making me want to build one. Thanks for sharing this. Rod
Airbusboy Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 The finish that you have achieved on this build is absolutely beautiful and very convincing. Very well done !
Mike Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Is it just me, or is anyone else not seeing the pics? If I copy & past the links to another tab they show up, but otherwise, blanko.
