Andrey Revenko Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Su-15TM 1/48 Trumpeter. The model is assembled almost completely "out of the box", except for replacing the nose with a resin one from Quickboost. Of the improvements - only made rivets. This model has many geometric errors, it is easier to correct them all by myself. I decided to just carefully assemble the model and practice with metallics once again. Enjoy watching) 40 3
kev67 Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Very nice, I can see that its a tail sitter, maybe not enough weights in the nose 1

28ZComeback Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Outstanding result. The realism is remarkable. I have saved your progress photos. Can you share the name of the bare metal products used to achieve these results. I think I see a shade of Alclad?? Thank you again.

I used only one paint Alclad Polished Aluminum ALC-105. In order to get different shades of metal, I painted some parts of the model with black glossy paint. 1
Charles68 Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Stunning ! Great NMF finish. It was worth the work, I know that masking is very tedious but in the end it shows!. 1
