The kit shown in the link has been for sale at that price for quite a few years now.

The seller isn't shy of asking very high prices. Selling at those prices is a different matter. Still, it only takes one buyer...

It did note his pricing is optimistic. I did message him about getting someone to look at it for possible 3D printing. I wonder if I will get a response.

Seller is asking £5000  according to that link. ok, probably a rare kit but what a joke.  Ive had a 100% positive feedback ebay account for years-   ive just reported thisto ebay - cant be worth more than £200 surely  -  and a buyer would be crazy to buy at that.   its not like its a UFO proven studio prop.

I bet 100% ebay say, keep the listing as no problem, trying to sell a kit for £5000.  madness.

I don't understand what's so difficult to comprehend: a seller can ask what they want - whether they sell it is another matter. Yet somehow people seem to think that 'offered at' means 'sold at'.

What have you reported to eBay exactly? That you don't like it? Don't be surprised if they ignore you.

If nothing else, the listing is a first class way of drawing attention to your sales and it doesn't cost a bean. Free advertising for at least a couple of years isn't to be sniffed at if you are a seller.
