SprueMan Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 That is a very nice model! Very realistic. Did you experience any problems assembling it?
Lord Riot Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Superb! The finish on that is amazing, so realistic.
Charles68 Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Yes, that would stand out in a contest!! Winner, excellent!
Screech Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Fantastic looking Hornet! Definitely was carrying quite the punch with that load!
TBC Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 That's gorgeous! But aren't their F/A-18 kits suppose to have horrible fit issues with the nose/windscreen area? If so, it doesn't look like you've had any trouble whatsoever.
Fred piket Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Beautiful Hornet, I love it! Weathering is also precise. You did a wonderful job!
ErikT Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 I love a nice Hornet, and that is a nice Hornet.
kelly9mm Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Perfectly balanced weathering. Cheers, Marcin
Scooby Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Nice build! This retired Hornet Handler loves it!

Fit is not bad at all, I think the most problematic area is the intake duct assembly. Whatever you do, do not follow the instructions and dry-fit as much as you can.. 3 2
Gordon J Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 I agree that you can't have too many Hornets and what a brilliant model you have created. I absolutely love this. I have built this kit twice and twice the main undercarriage collapsed on me. I found it to be a very problematic area of an otherwise stunning kit.
Rod bettencourt Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 Great looking build!! Thanks for sharing. Rod
Nanond Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 That's one great-looking hornet. How did it go together, Kinetic hornet?
