dov Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Halllo I am thinking about building my Luckgraph models. Now I must take in consideration that I will have to work with 3 D printed parts. I know to build WNW kits. I know to build resin kits. I never built a 3D printed, or mostly printed kit. Anyone with experience? Please refrain from answering without experience! I only need true facts no guess! Happy modelling
Black Knight Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Not built a complete model large model but stuck small parts on figures. I found and like superglue gel for the job. The gel has instant tack, a little bit of wiggling time and when set is good. Used in D&D gaming nothing has come apart yet nor fallen off
hendie Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 I use the same resin the parts are printed from. Plenty of time to position the parts, wipe off any excess, then hit it with the UV. Using the same resin provides a cohesive join as opposed to an adhesive join. 1
dov Posted October 14, 2024 Author Posted October 14, 2024 @hendie, hallo, please tell me more about it. I never used resin tl glue. So what do you actually use? Thank you in forward. Happy modelling
