Tbolt Posted October 11 Posted October 11 From the latest Arma email "November I will be announcing another all-new 1/72 scale model kit, which will be available in December. We are going into full swing with a new series of kits in 1/72 and 1/48 scale."

It's another one, if I read the Arma email correctly: there's the Ki-43 and then something new in December. 1

Jirka Bures Posted October 11 Posted October 11 (edited) The Premiere of Ki-43 II Hayabusa at the All Japan Model and RC Show in Tokyo! (Arma Hobby blog): "In November, we will announce another brand-new 1/72 scale model, with sales beginning in December. This is just the beginning – a lineup of new models in both 1/72 and 1/48 scales is coming soon!" Edited October 11 by Jirka Bures 2

It has been announced years ago.
Jirka Bures Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Who knows. But Arma Hobby's two statements are not mutually exclusive.
Dennis_C Posted October 11 Posted October 11 (edited) I wonder if "a lineup of new models in both 1/72 and 1/48 scales" is going to be all based on that new December release? Or do they say that more announcements of different models are upcoming? They have not been really releasing a lot of models of different aircraft to the date. In 1/72 I think they've done about maybe 10 or 12 so far. So a whole line up of models of different aircraft is not too likely. So let's speculate that a line up of modifications of one aircraft is coming. Any ideas what could produce 'a whole line up' for them? I have a strange feeling about something with '86' and not Ju-86 or Il-86... Edited October 11 by Dennis_C 1
TEMPESTMK5 Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Good afternoon After the Mustang Arma Hobby could produce a serie of P-47 Thunderbolt and /or P-38 Lightning which are not well represented in 1/72 .. Best regards Patrice 1 1 1 2
Adam Poultney Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Without a doubt it's going to be a Vulcan b1.... right? In all seriousness though, I'll be happy just to see more Arma kits regardless of what it ends up being. If it's something I particularly like I'll get hold of one or a dozen, if not I'll enjoy the build threads. 3

Dennis_C Posted October 11 Posted October 11 (edited) @Homebee thank you for posting the full message. That sounds super positive! Feels like Arma is gaining momentum and is coming to a point when they can produce more new kits one of which is coming very shortly! Who cares what it is - all they make is a very good quality products and more importantly produced from long lasting molds so that the kits are likely staying almost permanently on the market. Graham Boak Posted October 11 Posted October 11 AH's links with Special Hobby, and that company's recent Bf.109G release, could be a reason? At least let the news/enjoyment/panic buying die down a little?

None, as far as I'm aware. And Special Hobby has not released a Bf 109G, it's Eduard. SH has only reboxed an AZ Gustav in the past. Edited October 11 by TheKinksFan

-Ian- Posted October 11 Posted October 11 I'm hoping for a KAI T-50/FA-50. The only current 1/72 option is an extremely basic Academy kit which is really more of a toy than a model. With the FA-50 due to enter service with the Polish Air Force next year, it's the sort of subject Arma could be interested in. 1
