olujnik Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I got box full of model airplanes but I cant determine which model is this. It is biplane, and inline engine has long exhaust.
olujnik Posted October 5 Author Posted October 5 (edited) It is biplane but uper wing is broken. It has some reaebelance to He 51 but wheels are open and have board conecting them as Fokker Dr.I Engine has 4 exaust are colected in long singl exaust pipe which is going behinde pilotes cabine Edited October 5 by olujnik
Graham Boak Posted October 5 Posted October 5 The engine cowling suggests a BMW VI so German, Czech or Japanese? The tailplane in advance of the fin suggests Arado. Not a later Ar.65 but perhaps something around 1930?
Paul Thompson Posted October 5 Posted October 5 (edited) Odd looking thing, but amost certainly between the wars rather than WW1. Most WW1 aircraft with an inline engine didn't show that much streamlining, and almost always had a frontal radiator, like a car does. I'm assuming the bit of plastic under the fuselage behind the wing leading edge is a radiator, like a Hawker Fury or Avia534 (not suggesting it's one of these, it isn't). Paul. MDriskill Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Correct, it's an old KP 1/72 Avia BH.21. Still got a couple in the stash! 🤫
