hsr Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 This is the Italeri 1/72 Sikorsky UH-19F Chickasaw built as a trainer for the US Navy's training squadron HT-8 during the 60's . For Italeri it is an excellent kit and a pleasure to build. I also used the Eduard exterior/Interior H-19 set #72363 and their H-19 mask #CX094. Given that this is a good kit and the aftermarket parts also worked well there isn't much to say about it. The decal stars were from spares and the decal text was from my laser printer. Total build time was 12 days. Next up will be Revell's Douglas SC-54D Skymaster, and I mean it this time Enjoy 22 1 1
Pete in Lincs Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 It's a little beauty. Looking very different in red. As opposed to the schemes that we're used to seeing over here on Whirlwinds. 1
