thebig-bear
Please can anyone tell me at what date the first of the Chevrolet CMP 15 cwt trucks with no. 13 cab were produced? I'm unsure as to what colour and camouflage pattern choices I can get away with. Many thanks.
Kingsman
Late 1941 is as close as I can find. So that opens up all 3 major colour schemes. Khaki Green 3 based, SCC2 based and SCC15 based. GM (but not Ford AFAIK) produced some factory finished in Light Stone for N Africa.

Mike Starmer
The latest gen for Canadian vehicles destined to Middle East is that these were painted a sandy shade designated Coronado Tan. As yet no one has discovered which of several late 1930 automotive shades so named was used. Some years ago a vehicle restorer in France found the colour on a Diamond T980 and had a matched sample produced. By the time I contacted him he had painted the vehicle green and destroyed the sample. He was as disappointed as I was, since his lorry was now like so many others and wished he had kept it sandy.
