Hello,

Below is the progress of the USS NEW-YORK BB-34 battleship at 1/350.

I used the Pontos Model detail set and various equipment from Black Cat Model.

G'day Alain, that's an incredibly detailed build. I think I even saw some grey plastic in there. 😁 Regards, Jeff.

Hello,

Thanks for your feedback on the previous post. You are all super nice.

Between the state of the ship on the previous post and the current state of the ship, three years have passed.

Three years shared between 3D modeling activities of cranes and other port elements but also the assembly of armored vehicles at 1/35 and a lot of time handicapped by illness.

Here is the current state of the ship. I used a lot of parts from Black Cat Models. For me, these are the best products on the market (print quality, non-brittle resin, Benjamin's listening, speed of production and delivery and above all reliability at all costs.).

I have finished painting the sailors and other elements currently missing on the model.

Let's see the pictures.

Good evening to you all,

The very fresh photos of the current state of the USS New York BB-34. It is completely finished, all that remains is to add ropes and touches of matt varnish.

The ropes for the signal movements were made of white lycra (dyed in coffee) of 0.068 mm in diameter. The other cables were made of Lycra of 0.091 mm diameter

The quadruple guns, the firing directors, the rafts, the bridge binoculars, the planes, the figurines come from Black Cat models.

Black Cat offers truly exceptional models in terms of quality and finesse. It is visible that these products are printed with professional printers with a resin that is very easy to work with.

To compare with the products of many suppliers who offer products printed with the same printers that I have at home for my personal needs with a very brittle resin.

I'm going to attack the base of the diorama. The sea is not my strong point. But hey, I've tried many different methods. But the result is always the same.

Let's get to the Photos.

Brilliant !! Don't worry about the base you could sit it on a piece of old newspaper and it would still be fantastic.
