One of my favorite helicopters. I did a W variant a few years ago, which is an addition to the future collection of AH-1s. The kit was fantastic and a pleasure to build. I wish all the kits were this fun. Since the kit was supplied with only Spanish and Israeli decals, and I really wanted the machine from Vietnam, I've used some spare decals from other helicopters from that era (so some sizes and numbers are not quite correct)

Yaaayyy!!! More Cobras! Beautiful build @chikavili, absolutely beautiful. I have about 5 of these in my stash currently, and plan on getting more still. My dad flew Cobras his entire career in the Army so I just love them. Nice job on the Italeri Whiskey also.

I've always loved the original Cobra since hearing stories as kid about them from vets that were on the ground. It was an original and ingenious design. Your build is a beautiful tribute to it. You've inspired me to pick one up now that there's finally a good 48th scale AH-1G

Yes, the Whiskey Cobra is Italeri. It has raised panel lines, but besides that, it's okay.

Thank you all. Glad you like it as much as I do :)
