The Zvezda Airbus fits together well, apart from vagueness about the engine pylons attachment to the wings.  Superb decals came from 26decals.  The vehicles are either from the talented Ray Rimes Designs or Oxford Diecast.  Scenic background from Coastal kits and base from Kits World.

I was casting around for which registration to use, when an A320 came into to land near my daughter's house in west London and according to Flightradar24 on my phone it was G-EUUY, so I thought, why not?

Hope you like it

Great looking model!!!

Just one little detail...you have the wrong engines under the wings. BA uses the V2500 on their A320 CEOs

Lovely build! Had to help rescue UUY a few months ago during some training at Prestwick when it sprung a wee leak!

The ground equipment is superb, I've been hunting for 1/144 towbars and tug's for ages with no success.

Great work and a lovely dio too.

Dear Coneheadff

Oh no, you mean the BA A320 does not have the old CFM56 style engine on its early A320s?  I thought that big long engine that is an option in the kit only goes on the NEOs?

I guess I should just enjoy the model and squint my eyes a bit.

Well, the "long engine" is the one you should have used.

That is the V2500 engine that BA has on all of their A320 CEOs. The two options used on the NEO are looking like "up-scaled" CFM56...PW1000 and CFM LEAP.

Nevertheless...Your model looks great!!!

That's a lovely looking little tiddler and great diorama - very nicely thought out. I am always pleased to catch a civil build on the forum - and in the magical Chatham livery too.
