StuG III Ausf.F running gear question

I'm wondering if anyone here could confirm, one way or the other,  if Dragon's 1/72 StuG III Ausf.F kit's running gear could be replaced with a set of running gear from their StuG III Ausf.G kit

 

I was quite disappointed with the cheap way that Dragon cut corners on their StuG III Ausf.F and Pz.Kpfw.Iv Ausf.D.  The kit running gear in particular was a real let down.

 

If the running gear from the Ausf.G is the same as what was used on the F variant, that would at least let me address that.

It looks like you could get away with it so long as the front wheels have the dish shaped hubcaps rather than the bolted ones and the return rollers have rubber tires. 👍
