Paul J
Finished this one a couple weeks ago having succumbed to the purchase browsing in LIdl. It took me about 10 hours spread out over a few days to make. No extras or any changes to the kit and its straight from the box except I used Xtracrylix paints. I made it just to keep my hand in modelling.
Beard
That looks rather splendid and I notice you didn't bother with the gun patches (or they weren't in the kit), which are right so-and-sos.
dogsbody
Nice! But you didn't do the yellow prop tips. Chris
Smudge
Nice one, Paul. You have done a good job of the painting, and got the camo pattern spot on. I've always liked those oversize DW- codes

Chris I thought there was something missing when I posted the photos. Easy remedy though. The same with the gun patches tha were commented by 'Beard' above, None in the kit but I can easily apply when I get some more 'brick red' !

Beard
I've never managed to make the damn stickers conform with the wing so have a rizla that's been painted red which I cut small squares from and stick over the holes with PVA glue.
FatFlyHalf
Ah! The Airfix Spitfire 1. All those panel lines. Margates answer to modelling trench warfare, I believe.

kapam
Really nice build - much better than the one I did (must give it another try one day). Your camo turned out brilliantly. 👏👏
