What is the best brass colour to use?

Hi all

 

I always used to use the humbrol brass colour for painting ammo belts and things  However I never found it to be a good brass colour.  Is the Mr metal colour a good brass colour to use?

Mr Metal generally is quite good and once dry a very gentle rub with a soft cloth might and you might be able to polish it up a bit.

 

As you live in France, why not contact IPMS France. I am sure that some of their members could offer you more advice on brass finishes.  Hope this helps.

I find that the Ammo Mig 0197 Brass is quite a good brass colour
