I think it has to do with the fact that the design looks more "complete" and "right" in proportion than the original A and B version. Also, range is much better and payload is higher. All in all, probably a better choice than the A. The A and C have identical payload and range. 1

Stephen Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 According to a post on the Tamiya USA Instagram page the kits have started to be shipped. 2
IT_Man Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 I think I read somewhere that the container to the UK is due in week commencing 16th December. I probably will complete the set even though the others are still untouched in their boxes 😄 1

Willi3d Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 In the US as of Dec. 9. Mine arrived Dec. 13. Very nice, and somehow cheaper than the A or B kit. 1

KingCobra Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 (edited) Got mine today. Need Lockheed to do a D- version, as I found some still unused space on my shelf. CinCNAGHOME mumbled something about me needing therapy. Edited December 20, 2024 by KingCobra 1 1

I got my first one from the Czech Republic more than a week ago, and another one from Germany a few days ago. Jens
SprueMan Posted January 4 Posted January 4 (edited) What may also be relevant to us F-35 heads, is that Tamiya has released a spray paint for the F-35 the "have glass gray" or "camouflage gray". It is simply called "Camouflage gray" in Tamiya catalogue, number AS-33. It also exists as Lacquer paint (but not acrylic??) as LP-84 Edited January 4 by SprueMan 3 2
