Hey...I seem to no longer be able to upload images from Flickr.  Any ideas about that?  

 

It says the the link cannot be embedded because there is no image at the url...😟

No, but I do know there's a lot of problems with hosting for British sites since the legislation changed but that shouldn't be a problem in Greece just means us Brits can't see everyone's pics anymore!

 

Anyhow, more importantly, how was the bike ride?

I have a new contender, a late entry. I've got a couple, but let's be realistic 🤭

One of the plastic bags I picked up at the Club last evening--  for next to nothing--  was this,

Minicraft, and by the look of the artwork on one of the instructions, a 1991 issue. Scalemates.com traces the kit's history back through several manufacturers to 1973 for a new tooling by Bandai. 

So am I right in thinking that this is a qualifier??.

Reckon I could knock one of these together pretty quickly, including some remedial repair work 😀

Great find! A 1/72 cherokee appeared used at the local shop but they want an eye-watering $49 for it... and the pic of contents doesn't show many parts.

It's not an extension but....

 

@Adrian Hills has asked for an extension, but which is out of the pay grade of us mere Hosts (shucks I was enjoying the power), but @Enzo the Magnificent, for it is he, has said that he's willing to be propositioned (OK he didn't exactly say that and I could possibly have  phrased it better) from the weekend onwards.

 

So this is the beginning of a sounding about how many people would benefit from an extension to the end of the month?

 

Or in @rob Lyttle's case, can he now fit in THAT Cessna🤣 from a standing start🤔

Yes please! The Langley Fairlie is dead in the water, but the replacement bits for the GEM Mountaineer have arrived so there's an outside chance of getting this one running...

I've badly neglected my builds

Nothing done on them for ages

I think an extension may help but as long as my build threads don't get locked I'll keep on with them

Don't fear the reaper, because there is no extension.

However, don't forget that KUTA is rolling alongside this GB, so it is pretty much a 2 month extension over there.

 

Just ask @Enzo the Magnificent and he will do the clever techie stuff to transfer your thread into that forum. Or if you're a bit too shy for that, start a new thread in KUTA and put a link back to your build here and your secret is safe - well not really but I'm trying to sound reassuring.

Sorry, I think our posts crossed- as far as I know, only the Main Gallery is locked (not inspiration), or see the options about easing into KUTA where you'll be in good company (you might wonder how I know that)

Well well, my P-40K sits at the last spot of all build threads. Tomorrow I will take a pic and post an update on it... it may have been quiet, but it has definitely been (slowly) on the way. Was there an extension? Thank you if there was one. V-P
