I've already done UM's BT-7 kit, but found this one few years ago at some scale modelling competition market, and instantly fell in love with this turret.

So, it finally found its way to the workbench :)

Assembling is finally done - I was mojoless for the past few months, and after Bunfight 2025 is finished I rebuilt mojo again, so, let's finish all that can be finished within 2024, in order to prepare for 2025 :D

As I superglued etched parts last night, I'll leave it for day or two to fully cure, and than I will spray Black Surfacer as a primer...

Paint is on - Mr. Color C135 (Russian Tank Green Early) - lightened a bit with white color for middle parts of panels and for highlighting...

I've applied wash - artistic oils Raw Umbra.

Idea is now to give it flat varnish coat next, and then to do color modulation on various areas with artistic oils, and only after that to spray final semigloss coat, or not, depending on what effect will artistic oils leave on surface...

In the past few days I've tried new technique for me - dot filtering with artistic oils but on matt and pre-damped surface, so I achieved a unevenly distributed various shades...

Finally finished - within old, non-extended deadline for this GB :)

In the meantime I've applied chipping (sponge and brush painting technique), added headlights (made from Kristal Klear) and weathered further with MIG pigments...

It was pretty much fun build for me - although no decals are applied, I've tried, and hopefully succesfully, to add some variety to single-tone camo with different weathering techniques.
