The exchange of park and nark is most apposite.

The term 'grass' (snitch) comes from rhyming slang for nark.

Grass in the park - nark.

Nark itself comes from the Romani word nak for nose, so ultimately a nosey person.

The a in nak should have a tilde accent, but although I can bring it up on screen I cannot type it.
