This is my build of the 1/72 Unimodel early production version of what is generally known as the T-26 Model 1933 Light Infantry Tank, boxed as UM and then later re-boxed as UMMT aka Unimodel Mitilary Technics. Construction of the bogies and bending some of the PE was a bit tricky - here is a link to the build thread -

The green has come out a bit light on the pics, and I have used later 4BO shade when I now realise it should probably have been 3BO.

Not the easiest of builds but not bad in the end.

I built the Rush Model Kits IL-62, which has decent plastic and superb decals.

I have really enjoyed it to such an extent that I have ordered a few more airliners.

I don't expect to get enough time between now and the end of the GB to make another kit but I will keep my fingers crossed 😊

Having built the T-26 Model 1933 previously in this GB, here is one of the last Model 1939 versions with heavier armour and a revised turret with spaced armour added on. details in the link to the thread.

Not the easiest of builds but it came out quite well.

Here is the second of my Roden Albatros kits - a 1/72 D.II. A relatively straightforward build with the usual problems of fragile struts, slightly shallow locating holes and decals that break up unless you coat them in varnish and/or Liquid Decal Film as described in the thread.

Second GB and second time the entrant is an oddity in its own right. Meet Kolossalwagen, K-wagen or simply Großkampfwagen ("large combat vehicle" German never ceases to amaze).

Kit: AMG (Arsenal Model Group) 72510

Scale: 1/72

Paint: AmmoMig 0235 Dark Grey AMT-12

Was quite fun, simple and enjoyable build that took less time than thread makes it look like. In process learned that CA glue as filler has only one advantage - short drying time. Next time would rather pack the hole with something and let CA act as binding agent but that is another story anyway. Now onto my thread link and photos. 5 as per the rules to keep it all tidy, I'll reverse order though and show more "period-correct" option first.

This is my build of the Roden 1/72 Fokker E.V, later called the D.VIII. Not the easiest of builds due to the lozenge camo decal. I did managed to get the Roden decs on but due to the lack of colour density and the fact that I had used a dark undercoat the uppersurface camo was only showing 3 colours not 4 so I replaced it with some AM lozenge. Here is a link to the build thread.

This is the Roden Fokker F.I, a pre-production version of the Dr.I triplane one of which was flown by Werner Voss as I have modelled it. The F.I had a number of differences from the production version which Roden have not bothered with, such as a different engine cowling, slightly smaller wings and a curved edge to the horizontal tail, though I have tried to imitate the latter. It builds up fairly easily, the only real problem being the streaky paint finish that these planes had. My attempts are not as good as I would like, but will have to do. Here is a link to the build thread-

And here is the last of my small Roden WWI plane kits, the little known Fokker D.VI of which only about 60 ever entered service. I have finished it in the markings of a plane belonging to Jasta 80b, a Bavarian Home Defence Unit apparently.

The build thread is here

I actually managed to get the Roden lozenge camo decs to work with a great deal of care.
