These posts are mainly of interest to Australian viewers but the actual Red Roo items will be of world-wide interest. Some items which are available more easily outside Australia may have unique features added for the local market - for instance, the Arma Airacobra and KP Auster kits.

4.   The Blackbird Models Dornier Do24K conversion is also back in stock. This detailed conversion kit is for the Dornier Do24K variant operated by the Dutch and Australian air forces during WWII. Conversion provides the Wright 1820 engines and cowls as well as the forward, dorsal and rear turrets. The turrets are moulded in clear resin. Also included are the DF loop and tail cone. A comprehensive instruction sheet is included.

5.    We have new stock of the amazing Arma Hobby P-39 Airacobra in 1/72 scale. This version is a Red Roo Value Added edition which features comprehensive decals and detailed instruction sheet on how to get the best out of this excellent kit. The digital print decal sheet covers every RAAF P-39 for which contemporary photographs exist. Follow this link to take a look at this truly remarkable Arma kit.

6.    Our 1/72 scale RAF and RAAF Antarctic Austers kit makes a return this month. This is a multimedia kit featuring injection moulded plastic, resin parts, 3D-printed resin parts, digital print decals, full colour instruction booklet and painting masks. Choice of four subjects. For details follow this link.

7.   We have a new edition of our Lockheed Ventura conversion available in 1/48 scale and in 1/72 scale. This conversion allows the modeller to build the Revell Ventura Mk.II 1/48 scale kit and the Academy 1/72 scale kit to represent an aircraft operated by 459 Sqn in the MTO during WWII. The conversion features resin and brass parts, a full colour instruction booklet and a small decal sheet. For 1/48 scale use this link and for 1/72 scale use this link.

8.   We have a small number of Mk.1 1/144 scale Wessex HAS.1/31A and HAS.3/31B helicopters back in stock.

Doom and Gloom Department (brought to you by the Village Glee Club): The winter weather this year in the south-east of Australia has been particularly miserable, with significantly lower temperatures which has resulted in a restricted resin production schedule. It has simply been too cold to ensure a steady production flow of 3D-printed resin and cast resin products. As we head towards Spring and the daily temperatures begin to increase we will be getting back on top of things, so, yes, there will be more Brisbane tanks coming in soon!

Good News Department: As Minicraft have re-released their 1/72 scale Mariner kit we have decided to re-instate our Mariner detail set. This is a very complex conversion, with components sourced from a number of suppliers and therefore requires considerable time and effort to effect. Short story - yes it will happen so please be patient.

There is a lot more on the website so if you have not as yet visited our website don't hold back - please stop by and check things out. Why not pass this month's newsletter to your modelling mates and get them to sign up so they too will have all the latest news about new products. Visit Red Roo Models.
