1:32 Electric Fish Factory Trolley - something different!

I picked this kit up last year as it looked so unusual I HAD to have it!

 

 

In the kit you get enough to build two electric trolleys as featured on the cover plus a couple of hand trolleys, PLUS some crates AND two giant Tuna fish!

 

 

The downside is that the figures and the fish are soft vinyl plastic as opposed to hard polystyrene 

 

 

It comes with a range of decals, some of which I used on the electric trolley but I have no idea what the rest are...

I did paint up a set of the boxes for the back of the trolley but there wasn't room for them

 

 

Such a weird subject - I just HAD to built it!!!

How good is that? Brilliant. It would be at home on a Bond set* or dressed up a bit in a Sci Fi Diorama, it's almost timeless. Love it.

 

Replace the fish with a stolen Atomic bomb. Obviously.

Like Bandai's 1:1 noodle pot kit, this is one of those kits which makes you wonder just what the designers were on (and how they got it past the bean counters to get it in production). a completely bizarre choice of subject, but I love it and you've done a nice job of the building too. I'd think this is likely to be a conversation starter when it's put on the display shelf.

This model piqued my interest so I checked out HobbySearch.  it seems Aoshima has another fish market item, a Fish Market Forklift, and various "mobile stalls", e.g., ramen food truck, &etc.

and the other box looks like this kit but with different box art as it illustrates everything that comes in the box - I didn't build it all, just the electric cart.
