Popkaz
My girlfriend didn't get why I was so excited to see it pass by on Reddit, I showed her pictures and she was astonished by the work. She was even wondering how the hell did you managed to do such realistic background trees. It is indeed a great work and definitely deserve all the shout-out it could have. Great accomplishment and I do love the busyness of the scene as a whole. Definitely an inspiration for future work, and very good photography work as well

This was one heck of a project from beginning to end. I’m glad you all like it! I am starting a sister build to this one which will be an American counterpart. It will be displayed next to it on the shelf. Furthermore, both finished builds will be entered into the IPMS competition coming to my town in September. If interested, the new build can be found here -

I was consulting the pics of your diorama and talking about a model convention to come close to us and him to say "why don't you participate to competitions?" A bit too late for this year but he planted a seed there 😉

Mattlow
Glad to catch up with this as a finished diorama. Those photos with the background do look very realistic, very reminiscent of late war scenes. Refreshing not to see pilots standing around as it was mostly the ground crew working away to keep these things flying. I'll have to pop over to your Overlord thread and see what you're up to.. Well done.
