I know the Kotare Mk.Va Spitfire is due for release later this year but I’ll give you a bit of food for thought. 
 

How about a Mk.Vc conversion when the kit is out?

Hoping for a Vb version as nobody actually does a nice, accurate Vb in 1/32.

I may look at it but I think, that there are others that may get there quicker than me. Always amazed that the V.c does not get produced, all the manufacturers seem to go for the b.

I wouldn't bother because Kotare will do it, and Seafires, in fact all 'short' Merlin variants. I spoke to one of their designers at SMW a couple of years  back and they are maximising the moulds, which is sensible. I have a Va on backorder and the main difference between that and a Ia is the circular oil cooler. Mind you I expect they'll do a 1b when they start playing with wings for cannon armed variants. It might be a while before they get to a Vb and c but Im certain that they will!
