This is 1/32 Trumpeter P-47D-22 RE (s/n 42-26249) named Kansas Tornado flown by Lt. Howard J. Curran of 510th FS 405th FG in Picauville -France September 1944.

 

Cockpit modified with Eduard instrument panel and seat belts

 

Other additions are:

-Quickboost engine set

-Eduard wheel set

-Hasegawa's Hamilton std propeller

-Master Model metal gun barrels

-Barracudacals decal set

 

I used Alclad metalizers for the painting

Beautiful… a landscape scene behind and it would be hard to distinguish from the real thing
