Homebee Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 (edited) Akatombo Works is to release a 1/72nd Interstate TDR-1 Attack Drone resin kit Source: https://www.facebook.com/atsushi.koyanagi.520/posts/pfbid02HGbxFWpHi3Djbc6ZUZ5mG7fUXHbu9uB116Efs8TctPgTf7jjxn7cVToDVLqNkuMfl Quote Interstate TDR-1 Attack Drone 1/72 Scale This is the first attack drone developed by Interstate Aircraft and Engineering for the United States Navy during World War II. Approximately 200 aircraft were produced and deployed frequently or live-action against the Japanese forces in the Pacific, but the accuracy of the induction equipment was poor and could not increase the fishing results. The actual machine is about 14.6m in total width, 10.9m in total length, so on a scale of 1/72 it is the total width of 20.3cm and the total length of 15.1cm. Test model V.P. Col. Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 Is this the first ever kit of the machine? Some great footage can be found on YouTube if anyone is seeking inspiration for this one. 1

Naviator Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Does anyone know if Akatombo is still in operation? I reached out to them through their Facebook page but never received a response.
Trenton guy Posted June 16 Posted June 16 They are still there. There stuff turns up on HLJ from time to time. Best to pre-order, they don’t last long.
