No, not the Killing Joke song Nirvana stole the riff for Come as You Are from, but a GB celebrating all things from the decade of excess. Built in or used during is good, as long as it’s modelled as it appeared at some point between 1st January 1980 and 31st December 1989 it’s eligible. A few ideas:

 

Aircraft: Shiny Top Gun F-14’s or ancient Eastern Bloc MiG’s, civilian airliners

Ships: Falkland’s veterans to playboy millionaire yachts

Cars: Ferrari Testarossa’s to Del Boy’s Reliant

Sci-Fi: Your favourite ships from your favourite movies of the decade

A resounding yes from me! My formative years, great TV as well as films and great subject matter for us modellers as the world didn't just fly boring grey computers. My only problem will be narrowing down my choice of subject.

Need a co-host that actually lived through the decade?

The firsts that come to mind are a FB-111A, a Tornado Gr.1 with the awesome gray-green wraparound or a Tornado IDS in High-Viz markings of the Italian Air Force.
