British Airways Trident 1C

Here's my Eastern Express 1/144 Trident 1C, with British Airways decals from 26, just finished in the Baby Boomers group build. Quite a nice kit - I have another in the stash (in an X-Scale box) and I'm looking forward to building it. Build thread is here:

I'm considering an X-Scale Trident in BEA red square for the "Made in Ukraine" GB later in the year and I think you have just nudged me a bit more in that direction!

 

Incidentally, in your build thread you say that if X-Scale were to come out with a 3B you would snap it up. Don't forget the F-RSIN 3B. I built it a while ago and it's really pretty good within the limits of short run moulding. If the red square 1C comes off I may well do another F-RSIN 3B in Speedjack livery as a companion.

Thanks - I've got an F-RSIN 3B, it's not bad. It's on my shelf of doom at the moment, on hold as I had some paint problems. Might need to pick it up and get it finished. But if X-Scale did a 3B I'd definitely get one - it's much more crisply moulded than the F-RSIN kit - I just don't think they're likely to, it's a pretty niche subject with very few possible schemes. I'd very much like to be wrong about that!
