Lanmi
Fantastic work. I love the details, as intake grills on leading edge, such an interesting cammo work. realistic weathering especially for exhaust stains. I will save photos for reference for sure.

Ben Hartmann
Mal Absolutely stunning work, especially with all of the scratch building that went into this! One minor niggle for me though would be the staggered waist guns, although this is the kits fault (its a late G with the later ball turret, and LMM had both types of rear turret fitted during its career), the replacement rear fuselage of was of an early Block 15 B-17G (Walleroo MkII) without the staggered guns. I did this aircraft late last year with the Monogram 1/48 G model (its here in RFI somewhere) and you could say I obsessed over it to the point of rivet counting and analysis paralysis. All the best Ben
Sky Keg
I like how you eliminated those pesky seams that tend to be a bit more problematic on natural metal / silver ( and larger sized ) subjects such as this B-17. Very nice. Mike

All the best Ben Yep, i know about em staggered guns on this kit, if correct then they should me same on both sides on this specific aircraft. But focus and main goal were to get a decent and cool model build out of this to display in the glass cabinet. I got it second hand, understood quite quicly why, the one that purched this from start and sell it, and now i know why, this sample of Airfix, not fully injected parts even missing parts, dad fit, tons of sinkholes, this Airfix sample had may similar feeling to short run modelkits (wich ive done a few), and this build were treated like that (best to do so) , this is also my first 1:72 scale i ever build (ok when 7 - or 8 years old something and it doesnt count). Im glad that many find my build usefull for their own build and how to dress it little, and geas up and some corrections easilly. In the end it were a very fun build. /Mals Way Edited May 6 by Mal_Belford 1

Mals Way
Must write, im very honored and glad for the response of my build on this kit, B-17G Mals Way, As my builds name them as Mals Way, in meaning how i solve problems with the modelkit, and hopefully helps others builders aswell, and yes i also share my goofs with it and how to deal em do to correct misshaps, aswell so others can avoid em pitfalls, with heads up. Im very glad many liked it, and yes as i say in forums, steal, take, borrow, develop and give back, all about sharing. /Mals Way.
