Started in December last year (sooo long ago! 🙄), this project has now rolled off the line ...

It's my first Takom kit and proved to be an enjoyable build.  I've added extra detail to the engine ... fuel lines and wiring along with the usual wathering.

Painted with Vallejo and Ammo acrylics, weathered using pastels, oils, environment 'mud' that has grass in it and enamel effects.

This represents a vehicle of the 117th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron, VI Corps in Germany during April 1945.

So,on with the pictures ....

Really nice job Keith. A couple of highlights for me has to be the finish achieved on the seats and exhaust, amongst others, smashing job!

Great modelling!

Thank you .... the engine really needs some detailing and was fairly easy.

Wonderful finish in a very unforgiving scale.

Thank you ... It was a change to work on a larger scale!

Really lovely! I know it's big, but the detail you've added is magnificent. I particularly like the canvas seats - they look utterly realistic.

Awesone work, Keeff, it's a big one! I like the subtle weathering and overall dusty feel. Add a few figures and it will be perfect!

Cheers!

That looks fabulous Keith, the engine looks great but the underside looks fantastic, I love the way that you have painted and weathered this, great work...

Hi Keith,

A magnificent construction, that scale allows you to show off your skills, since there is a multitude of details and the heel is a help.
I love the engine and the seats, which feel very real and "comfortable"...😁

Cheers
