Hello,

Finally, I managed to finish Wildcat from Tamiya in marking from Guadalcanal. It was quite ok build, Tamiya kit has some years but still good in details.

I used Gunze H and AK RC colours and Tamiya varnishes. I struggled with signs and numbers decals on fuselage and I rather used homemade masks. Weathering is done by Abteilung 502 oil paints and chalks.

I hope you’ll like it.

Petr

Good job !!

You have made good use of oil paints to represent dirt from an operational aircraft. Well done.

I like this model !!!

Excellent, I've  no  criticism of the  model but some of the photos are distorted. I assume you used a phone?

You can change the settings. Otherwise a brilliant  job.

Oh, I love Wildcats and Tamiya kit is very good with a surprisingly high level of details. You did really good job, I like it a lot!
