The scheme is a bit boring, surprised they did not do the camo version.

This was suggested to Revell for fifty years. Again they missed. Maybe we´ll see it for Christmas as an Easy Kit.

Take a close look at the display boards picture. There are a few items there that are a bit to good to be computer created.

Am I thinking new tool 1/72 Sunderland??? Even better if it was 1/48

I wouldn’t buy a Sunderland but I’d definitely be up for 1/24 V-bombers!

The artwork is straight from one of the Special Hobby kits, and the sprue lay out is from the Italeri kit. Don't get your hopes up too quick. ;)

In my humble but informed opinion, the only recessed panel is two inches too deep. Again, totally unbuildable!

Are we witnessing the demise of a great brand?

Does anybody know if Tamiya makes a folding tool for this? Might be handy!

Another question - is it just me or the black version is actually a quite different modification? I think on the picture it has a much shallower mid-fuselage recess than the white/red one. Is it so in real life though? Did the Airfix got it right? Anybody has walkaround links to check?

There isn't a black version, that's the shadow stand for the model.

It's actually a shadow of it's former self. :coat:
