Oddly though the F-104 looks like it’s a Belgian machine going by the fin flash. Otherwise it all looks U.S. operated. Wolfpak sheets were not confined to US subjects, Mark would throw in non-US subjects now and then to complete a theme for the sheet. 1 1

You have to be very carefult what you give away on here as otherwise people will have you building half your stash at the same time! Whatever you build will be most welcome my friend. I didn't sign up at the start either.......but decided to join in just to annoy anyway!!!! Still not 100% sure what I'll be building, will sort of depend on how all the earlier builds have gone and how much I've been distracted by new shiny plastic/resiny things! Currently I'm looking at a GWH MiG-29 9.13 in the Ukraine Digital scheme...with extra AM of course.... but this could change at anytime as I have plenty of choices in the stash....time will tell..... 3

zegeye Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Hello, I have to precise the rules for myself. So I have a question. So, eligible here are aircraft with two engines or with two rotor/propeller? F. eg CH-53 Sea Stallion has two engines but one rotor (main). And the CH-21 Flying Banana has two rotor but one engine.... Is the Banana OK for this group or not? Is the Stallion OK, or both are OK?

Believe it would be the twin rotors, we let the 4 engine he177 in the ww2 edition as it has twin props 1

I believe you would be fine with the H-21 (which I would like to see) as it has 2 visible forms of propulsion but the CH-53 only has the one main rotor. 1
81-er Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 Yep, the CH-21 is ok as it has twin rotors, but the CH-53 is out as it only has one James 2

I found several eligible kits in the stash, all in 1/72: Which one I pick will depend on the timing. Probably won’t be the Marlin- that thing is huge, and kinda ugly! I was glad to see this one made the cut! I’m currently thinking I’ll do the Piasecki for this build, and save the Hawkeye for the ‘80s GB, and the HC-123B for Viet Nam… 3
rafalbert Posted January 4 Posted January 4 I was planning on building a Neptune, but as someone pointed out elsewhere, it has 4 engines (I forgot about the jets 🤦🏼♂️). Back to the drawing board.....

danbuoy Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I'd like to join in with this. Currently a Monogram Grumman Albatross is top of my list, but also got the following; Airfix Cessna O-2 (though might save that for the Twin Boom GB) Italeri RB-66 Destroyer Revell F-89 Scorpion Italeri B-57G (possible Vietnam GB candidate) Academy OV-10A and OV-10D Broncos Plenty of time to decide anyway! 3

All excellent choices, we don't see many F-89's or B-66's so they would be particularly welcome. 1
UberDaveToo Posted January 9 Posted January 9 I think I'll give it a try with the one that started a Cold War icon: I'd be employing the Falcon vacuform conversion parts and the Hasegawa 1/72 F-4B... Dave 5 1
