FUJIMI Audi Quattro 20V

Greetings everyone!

 

Finished the construction of the AUDI 90 Quattro model from FUJIMI.

The model left a pleasant impression from the assembly.

Everything fits together without problems.

I didn't like the poor detailing of the suspension.

The model is assembled out of the box without any modifications.

When painting, we mainly used chemicals and paints from Mr.Color.

The body is painted black - Sunin7 BC002, and covered with 2K auto varnish.

Very nice. You have a lovely finish on the Audi. 

I love it when manufacturers do subjects like this, it allows builds of cars we, or friends/relatives, have owned. Do you have one of these or just a fan?

I do not have one, but I am a fan. I definitely agree with you. It is amazing that such models give us a chance to build our own collection of whatever cars we want.

Lovely build with a stunning paint finish!

 

I remember these cars when they were introduced - now the ones left are classics....!!

Nice model and finish you’ve done there.  I didn’t realize there was a kit of this car.

My dad had a red 2wd 90; it was a nice car but seemed a step down after a 190E and the E21 323i rocket ship that preceded it!

Got to admit that most Audis leave me cold, and this version is no exception, but I still think it's great that Fujimi have done a model of a fairly standard car.

 

What's also great is the standard of your build, and particularly the paint, not easy with black. While I might not be a fan of the car, I am definitely a fan of your model. 👍

Lovely model! I built one of these many years ago and agree it is quite basic. It makes a nice model on the shelf though.

So pleased to hear that you liked my work especially considering that you are not a fan of Audis.
You are completely right about working with the black paint. It is really challenging. It was the hardest part in assembling this model.
