If going to the trouble of purchasing four new bottles to create a new mix, why not try correcting the MrColor C135 first or no compatible paint brands in the paint box?
Casey Posted March 1 Posted March 1 (edited) 1 hour ago, JackG said: why not try correcting the MrColor C135 It would, sadly I do not have mixing properties of MrColor paints measured Getting those data is quite complicated and I do not have it for all paints. In fact I do not even have spectral data of any of them. Edited March 1 by Casey
JackG Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Hi Casey, sorry my mixing comment was for demiles. It would be the old school approach of just mixing by eye various swatches to see if the paint can be brought closer to match the photo. Depends how much lighter they want it before white desaturates the colour too much. 1
demiles Posted March 12 Author Posted March 12 Casey provided me with some viable options to mix BS 217 Sea green and all I was able to get were the Tamiya Lacquers which Casey listed as 'pretty good', all I can say is if this is pretty good then very good must be exceptional, mixed these today and just wow. Casey you are a magician. Thanks 1
