Here you go:

Tamiya Acrylics (by VOLUME)

217 Sea  green
        XF-3 Flat Yellow: 3 parts
        XF-26 Deep Green: 2 parts
        XF-2 Flat White: 9 parts
    D65 (daylight) DE00: 3.88

This is a poor match, Tamiya Acrylics does not have proper pigments

Tamiya Lacquers (by VOLUME)

217 Sea  green
        LP-83 Mixing Yellow: 8 parts
        LP-51 Pure Orange: 1 part
        LP-34 Light Gray: 6 parts
        LP-68 Clear Blue: 2 parts
        LP-2 White: 3 parts
    D65 (daylight) DE00: 0.79

This is a pretty good match

Liquitex Basic - Fluid (by MASS - you need scales to measure the ratios, paints have different density)

217 Sea  green
        Primary Blue: 1 part
Cadmium Yellow Deep Hue: 4 parts
        Unbleached Titanium: 9 parts
    D65 (daylight) DE00: 0.26

That's a very good match match

Golden Fluid Acrylics (by MASS)

217 Sea  green
        Titan Green Pale: 7 parts
        Benzimidazolone Yellow Medium: 4 parts
Cadmium Yellow Medium Hue: 1 part
        Anthraquinone Blue: 1 part
    D65 (daylight) DE00: 0.45

This is a very good match.

Casey,

Thanks for the information, Can easily pick up the Liquitex Basic and the Tamiya Lacquers easily here in NZ, the Golden Fluid seems a bit difficult but this is greatly apperciate.

Have tried C135 but it doesn't contrast with NATO Green in a similar fashion to the photo, but thanks.

If going to the trouble of purchasing four new bottles to create a new mix, why not try correcting the MrColor C135 first or no compatible paint brands in the paint box?

It would, sadly I do not have mixing properties of MrColor paints measured :( Getting those data is quite complicated and I do not have it for all paints. In fact I do not even have spectral data of any of them.

Hi Casey,  sorry my mixing comment was for demiles.   It would be the old school approach of just mixing by eye various swatches to see if the paint can be brought closer to match the photo.   Depends how much lighter they want it before white desaturates the colour too much.

Casey provided me with some viable options to mix BS 217 Sea green and all I was able to get were the Tamiya Lacquers  which Casey listed as 'pretty good', all I can say is if this is pretty good then very good must be exceptional, mixed these today and just wow.

Casey you are a magician.

Thanks
