Sturmovik
Good night guys! Has anyone worked with Amusing Hobby's decals? I want to know if they can slide easily into position, or if they stick as soon as they hit the surface (the latter issue has happened with Eduard and ICM decals). Thanks! Chuck1945
Don’t know about Amusing Hobby decals, but Micro-Set (if you can get it) works for me when positioning Eduard decals.
dnl42
There are some RFIs for Amusing Hobby kits. Check them out and perhaps ask the builders. FWIW, I haven't personally had problems with Eduard decals. I have suffered the problem you mentioned, and Micro Scale Industries Micro Set can help.
Sturmovik
@Chuck1945 @dnl42 thanks guys! I'll try to get a bottle of Set. Always thought water would be enough when positioning decals.

Always thought water would be enough when positioning decals. I use an old decal wetting recipe I found on the web back in neolithic times! Hot water with a few drops of dishwashing liquid and a few drops of white glue, it has served me well on all manner of decals including a couple of ancient 'Esci" sheets (the ones with several options or types from back in the 80's) I do also use the Microsol system among others.
Alan P
In case you can't get hold of any, you can make your own 'MicroSet' by adding a few drops of white vinegar to 10ml of filtered tap water.
