Since I posted in support of this build back in January, my classic Heller stash has grown ... and grown. And may grow still further. Thanks of course to much of the back-catalogue that Heller still owns being reissued, and being readily available at reasonable (or better) prices.

I now have 3 of the Noratlas 2501, thanks to a very generously priced double-kit reissue. Likewise, I have a second Canadair CL-215, with a stunning decal sheet. I'd like to build at least one of these two aircraft for the GB. I also now have a second Ju 52, a second Lansen, and a first ever Super Etendard (joining an Etendard IV in the stash). I also bought a Hellcat to replace the one I sold, but with a better decal sheet.

@Enzo the Magnificent, your catchphrase is needed here

Any chance of a picture of the CL-215 decal sheet, I've got the original kit and wondered what the other options are.

Cheers Pat

Hi Pat, here’s a link to IPMS Deutschland review of the newer release. The Saskatchewan government one is white with green and is pretty sharp and different from the Yellow and Red ones. If I was going to do one, it would be a Newfoundland government or Buffalo Airways, both the same scheme of Orange and White bands, with green trim. Probably the craziest scheme I’ve ever seen on a CL-215! Leading Edge did the decals for it. Also seen on the 415 as well as other aircraft like the PBY-5A.

There's no chance of getting my LeO 451 done in the WWII Twins GB now, so count me in!

I do not think I have a kit for this group build yet (unless my father lets me borrow his Dragon Rapide that he has stashed, but I think I should be able to join this group build).

Welcome aboard, chaps - those are two great-sounding projects which I'm looking forward to seeing!

Cheers,

Mark

Just the one kit in my stash, which dates back to the 1970s - so count me in.

Now added to with this early Bf109 - planning a Condor Legion.

Excellent kit .. Ive done a couple and wouldn't mind a few more. I love the early 109’s up to the Emil. I think the Fritz is good but from the “G” on Not much of a fan.

Excellent choice! All we need is something Republican to oppose it :)

Have to agree, Dennis, the Jumo-engined Bf109s are somehow much more interesting, perhaps because they tend to be overlooked.

Of course! I built 12(!) kits during the last Heller Classic GB. I guess that I won't reach that number this time. 😄

I'm pretty sure that a dive to the very bottom of the stash will reveal a Dragon Rapide; I know it's sort of started but very abandoned. If anyone wants it for this GB, I can excavate it and send some pictures- suspect very little done maybe a dodgy interior started.

For my part, I'll never build it as the moment is gone. My usual terms, free (including P&P global) in exchange for a donation to a charity of your choice for a donation of your choice.

As our mighty leader exhorts us let's 'build 'em all"

Nice! I had corrected/converted one a few years ago to make a MS226 (the naval version). There is some work on if you want to correct the kit's few flaws, but the final result is worth the effort.

This time I'll do an Armée de l'Air one 😉

Soon to be in the post to @JOCKNEY though I think of him as Enzo's apprentice because he has the same selective approach to what he builds😂

This Morane Saulnier is giving me some ideas, like doing the MS 230 as the “new monoplane” from the movie “The Blue Max”. Yup, I’m going shopping right now! “I believe you have aspirations in that direction, Stachel. You should forget them.”
