Popular Post russ c Posted January 18, 2024 Popular Post Posted January 18, 2024 Howdy Everyone Finished the latest addition to the CBI theme I got going so thought I better bother you with some photo`s My attempt at the Hasegawa 1/48 Hurricane IIc kit Finished to represent an aircraft with 34 Squadron RAF based at Palel, Burma Built from the box contents with just a very few tweaks The main one being to build up the fuselage under the canopy which was replaced with a vac-formed item so it could be slid back Others include: some canopy rails and a stiffener for the radiator intake from wire The bombs were, I think, from an Airfix Blenheim and the bomb racks were made from some bits of plastic sheet...... and filed into shape. Decals from an Xtra Decals Sheet, seat belts from paper and foil and drilled the gun barrels Hope you enjoy the pic`s, thanks for looking Cheers Russ 87 4
georgeusa Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 The Hurricane with the elongated filter always has looked quite menacing to me. It is just such a great look. Wonderfully built and finished kit. Look forward to more of your CBI future additions. Thanks for sharing. 1 1
