I'm sure lots of folks will be keen on getting a C, as there was a thread recently where its absence was bemoaned at length.  Let's hope it's a good 'un :)

Better than the Tamiya kits? I don't think so and I just have the last F-35B, it's just beautiful and I don't think the HB should be better.

What are the chances these are just a re-pop of the Kitty Hawk molds?

None IMO

I wonder if Tamiya has their F-35C in the wings ready to release since their B followed closely on the heels of their A. Maybe get the jump on the HB kit. The HB kit may be a scale down of the Trumpy F-35C of which I have not heard of too many issues with it.

As Japan is not planning to operate the C, I guess the chances are 50:50 at max.....

The still did not release a two-seater F-16 or a B -model Tomcat either 🤔

Well, Japan did not operate the F-4B so I think that argument doesn't hold too much water. In fact they didn't use the F-4C or D. Yet obviously they designed their molds to accommodate those versions with the B. I think it would be financially advantageous for Tamiya to complete the F-35 series and they do have a affinity for USN subjects.

Valid reasoning, here’s hoping!

I'd say that the "C" is likely, given how quickly they issued the "B" after the "A".

Buy with Tamiya you just never know!
