Here's my Airfix 1/48 Anson, built as W2090/6453 of No 1 Air Observer School, RCAF, using Xtradecals. Largely OOB with Quinta Studio 3D decals (very nice, but barely visible from the outside) and Eduard masks (highly recommended!). A bit too big to photograph in my usual set-up, so photographed on the dining table, hence the banana in the background in one of the photos!

Build thread is here

De Havilland Mosquito B Mk. IV - 109 Squadron, Bomber Command, RAF

Here's my model of the De Havilland Mosquito B Mk. IV painted in the markings of 109 Squadron, Royal Air Force. If you've been following the build there's a slight difference as the boarding ladder fell off and I've been unable to locate it.. Therefore the hatch was then fixed shut on the bottom of the fuselage.

Vickers Virginia X

This is a 1/200 scale Shed Models, limited edition resin kit (apparently number 3 of 20).

The Virginia entered RAF service in 1924 as a night bomber and continued in supporting roles until December 1941.

My model represents an aircraft from 214 Squadron in 1937.

The Build Thread is here.

Azur Martin Maryland I AR705, Malta, November 1940

This apparently is the aircraft that carried out the reconnaissance prior to the attack on Taranto by the Fleet Air Arm. The kit is from  Azur. Looks good in the box, but requires some care and extra work to deal with the bits Azur missed. WIP is here
