Nothing Earthshaking.

G'day Chums,it's been a bit on the quiet side at this end.The first off the line was the 1/48th Airfix Spitfire XVI built in the Prototypes,Racers and Special Schemes GB,build thread here .

 

 

While that was on the go I managed to finish a 1/48th Tamiya Meteor III in the Meteor STGB,build thread here .

 

 

There wasn't an RFI thread for this 1/76 Matchbox M9 trailer from their Diamond T kit that came my way instead of going in the bin,I didn't think it was worth it.

 

 

In April I stepped out of my comfort zone by starting a 1/600th Airfix HMS Belfast which,without the encouragement and understanding of some splendid chums,would likely not have been finished at the end of July,build thread here .

 

 

While that was on the go for a bit of light relief yet another 1/72nd Hobbyboss Wildcat crossed the bench,RFI thread here .

 

 

I fell off the Halftracks GB,there's just too much to do to the 1/35th Tamiya SdKfz 251 to make it properly convincing,the build thread is here .

 

Since then a couple of 1/72nd aircraft have taken their places on the bench but work and real life have conspired to not let me turn a thing since mid August which is very frustrating.Next years GB schedule looks very alluring,it'll be difficult not to overcommit.

 

My thanks once again go to all who chipped in and encouraged and to Mike and the mod team without whom we wouldn't have anywhere to play.
